Lincoln Nemetz-Carlson

Lincoln Nemetz-Carlson is a designer, artist, and scholar based in the North End of Boston. He holds an MArch from UMass Amherst and a PhD from The Ohio State University, specializing in ancient Greek and Roman art, architecture, and archaeology. He has been awarded the Fulbright U.S. Scholar fellowship to Azerbaijan, the Samuel H. Kress Advanced Fellowship at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, and a City of Boston UnMonument artist grant. His work explores contested memory, historical erasure, and the politics of commemoration across monuments, exhibitions, and built form.
