While living in Chicago, I became obsessed with two things: the architecture of Harry Weese and the design logic of the Chicago-style hot dog. This t-shirt brings them together.

A Chicago-style hot dog has seven ingredients, each represented here through geometric forms drawn from Weese's designs. Tomatoes and yellow mustard become triangles, a nod to Weese's fascination with the form in his 1980s work. Chopped white onions and green sweet pickle relish are squares. The dill pickle spear and pickled sport peppers are rectangles. Produced in both silk-screen and direct-to-garment printing.
