Vadim Shulgin Exhibition: Graphics

Baku, Azerbaijan

The graphic identity for Vadim Shulgin: Soviet Modernism in Baku, 1955–1974 was designed entirely in-house. The palette — a gradient shifting between Soviet red and Azerbaijani blue — runs consistently across all materials. Custom stylized illustrations were created for each of Shulgin's eight buildings, rendered in elevation against the gradient field. These graphics appeared throughout the exhibition as individual panels, and were adapted for the poster, invitations, timeline, and venue map.
